NAEYC Early Learning Program 2022 Standards and Assessment Items are research-based standards and recommended best practices for center-based early learning programs that serve children birth through preschool. Navy CDCs and 24/7 programs shall apply these standards toward achievement and maintenance of quality programming and accreditation as required.
Achieving and maintaining NAEYC accreditation is required of all eligible Navy child development centers and 24/7 centers. In order to comply with Navy Child and Youth Program Policy, new and non-accredited programs must follow the Navy CYP timetable to gain NAEYC accreditation status. This fillable timeline is required to notify CNIC of the plan toward NAEYC accreditation for all non-accredited programs and serves as a guide for action planning to become accredited.
