The Navy School Liaison Directory is available to provide the point of contact information for every region and installation School Liaisons (SLs) to assist families with their educational needs.

Students at the Center: A Resource for Military Families, Military Leaders and School Leaders was co-created by the Department of Education Activity (DoDEA) and the Collaborative Communications Group.

School Liaison materials provided by Embassy in Singapore to support arriving Navy Families. Importance of all Navy SLOs understanding the process and knowing how to get families engaged prior to arrival are important. Registration costs at some of the NDSP schools can be as much as $12K and require parents to work in advance of arrival.

This Policy Memorandum supersedes all previous policies on home schooling issued by the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). It applies to DoD dependent students eligible to attend a DoDEA school on a space-required basis in the Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) and on a tuition-free basis in the Department of Defense Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) systems.

This course is designed to teach professionals who support military-connected children and youth the challenges and joys that children face during a time of reintegration following a family memberΓÇÖs return after an extended absence. Participants will learn strategies to help students adjust during the reunion, and during the journey of reconnecting and reestablishing family routine.

S.P.A.R.C. is an online learning platform which provides participants with the knowledge needed to prepare young people to develop hardiness skills to meet personal and professional goals through identification of their sparks and interests while developing a growth mindset. This training is available for all military and civilian families associated with Navy Installations to include Navy Reserve families.

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) provides financial Assistance and support for education of authorized command-sponsored dependents of military members and Department of Defense (DoD) civilian employees assigned to overseas areas where no DoDEA school is available within the commuting area of the duty location and the sponsorΓÇÖs residence.
