Policy letter states that BGCA and Navy YP Memorandum of Agreement established a cooperative agreement between BGCA and Navy YP to become an affiliate organization of BGCA. As an affiliate of BGCA, Navy YP can offer BGCA developed programs and activities, request and receive grants, participate in trainings, and request technical assistance in all aspects of youth development offerings within BGCA.

The purpose of the memorandum is to provide guidance for Navy CYP member organizations of Boys and Girls Club (BGCA) located within the Continental United States and Hawaii to join BGCA State Alliance.
The purpose of the School Liaison and Youth Sponsorship Best Practices Catalog is to create a central library of Child & Youth Education Services (CYES) "Best Practices" to facilitate information sharing between Navy Child and Youth Programs (CYP) and other Fleet and Family Readiness functional areas. A submission template has been provided for installations to submit their best practices for consideration. Submissions should be sent by installations to CNIC N926 CYES via each Region.
This video series covers analyzing linking planning and observation to to assessment for preschool children, describing effective teacher-family partnerships and explaining their benefits, identifying strategies for getting to know families and gather information to individualize instruction, and identifying strategies for welcoming families to the program and involving them in meaningful ways.
The completion of the webinar training (combined with locally provided training) can support YSF Coordinators seeking to extend their NAYS Certified Youth Sports Administrators (CYSA) credential.
Found within the BGCA.net website, the Youth of the Year (YOY) Leadership Journal is a tool for teens to record their thoughts, questions, ideas, and dreams about what they are learning and the kind or leader they're becoming. Navy CYPs are highly encouraged to provide the YOY Leadership Journal to prospective Military YOYs and teens alike. The journal is a great tool for teens to capture their thoughts, questions, ideas, and dreams over time to support their MYOY ambitions, college applications, and/or their identity as a whole.
Through our continued partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), CNIC CYP is pleased to announce that BGCA will provide CYP professionals and teens with no-cost registration to this yearΓÇÖs BGCA Virtual Military Teen Summit, April 22-24, 2021. The summit includes an immersive and interactive mix of keynote speakers, breakout sessions, a Diversity Equity & Inclusion town hall, panel discussions, etc. Additionally, CYPs will have the opportunity to apply for pass through grants and teens will receive prizes for completing contents on MyFuture and for submitting action plans based on their summit experience.
