DoD Instruction 6060.04 establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides direction for the establishment and maintenance of DoD Youth Services. This includes the Youth Program (YP), Youth Sports and Fitness Program (YSFP), School Liaison Program (SLP), and Youth Sponsorship Program. This Policy Memorandum supersedes all previous policies on home schooling issued by the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). It applies to DoD dependent students eligible to attend a DoDEA school on a space-required basis in the
Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) and on a tuition-free basis in the
