Immunization documentation requirements have changed for school-age children participating in CYP. Upon the start of the Fall 2021 annual registration/reverification, families with school-age children enrolled in the Child Development Homes, School Age Care, and 24/7 Center programs will be required to provide documentation, or waiver requests, of their child's immunizations appropriate for the child's age per the ACIP to include documentation of the annual influenza vaccine.

Navy CYP Professionals are required to complete a Navy CYP approved training program. Each CYP professional is required to establish and track their training using the current Individual Development Plan and Training Requirements.
Annual unannounced inspections are required at all Navy Child and Youth Programs (CYP) operated on any Navy installation or jurisdiction by Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) CYP Higher Headquarters. Enclosures (1) through (9) are the Inspection Criteria Checklists that will be used during the CY24 inspection cycle, effective 1 January 2024.
