The Council of Professional Recognition has developed the Child Development Associate and Military School Age credentials to improve the quality of child and school-age care programs. CNIC CYP will continue to provide supplemental funding to offer CYP employees and CDH Providers an opportunity to continue their training and receive recognition from a national organization. CNIC (N926) has established a centralized contract with the Council of Professional Recognition to streamline the process for funding the CDA and MSA credentials. Enclosures (1) through (4) provide the processes for participating in this opportunity.

Navy Child and Youth Programs standardized positions descriptions (PDs) are required to be use for all Navy CYP operations. Enclosure (1) provides an updated chart of all CYP standardized PDs which are required to be used. Both Appropriated Fund (APF) and Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) standardized PDs have been classified and are provided.

(MSA) representative. The document contains the MSA Representative policy letter, training guidelines and nomination packet. The MSA Representative Training is a three day intensive training designed to prepare individuals with a strong background and experience in the field of School Age Services to conduct assessment of Candidates working with School Age children. Dates: April 22-24 Training Location: Naval Support Activity Mid-South.

he Navy CYP ETP will enable eligible employees to voluntarily request a transfer to any Navy operated CYP outside of the requesting employees commuting range of current duty station.
This memorandum provides updated information regarding Federal employee vaccination requirements. This memorandum must be posted wherever EEO policy statements are posted.
Candidates for CNIC CYP may be brought onboard by Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) Human Resource Offices (HRO) prior to completing the health screening requirements on a conditional basis. Physicals will be scheduled immediately at hire, and completed within 60 days of the onboard start date.
