This Navy Youth Sports and Fitness (YSF) Standard is designed to assist all Navy Child and Youth Programs by standardizing opportunities for youth participation in sports and fitness activities on-base or in close proximity to where Navy families live off-base. YSF programming helps Navy families balance the demands of family life and military readiness by providing opportunities for youth to engage in rewarding physical activity and by exposing youth to positive lifestyle behaviors.
