The Navy School Liaison Directory is available to provide the point of contact information for every region and installation School Liaisons (SLs) to assist families with their educational needs.

There are three distinct placards for use on each crib and portable crib per infant. Every infant in care in a CYP must have an applicable placard prominently displayed in a clear sheet protector attached to or immediately above the infantΓÇÖs assigned crib.

The School Based Programming Guidebook serves as a guide to initiating and sustaining Child and Youth Education Services and Youth Sponsorship programs in Local Education Agencies. The guidebook also outlines the specific responsibilities of Navy SLOs with regard to the initiatives.

School Liaison Officer's (SLOs) are responsible for all aspects of implementing the CYES function of the Navy's CYP. The SLO serves as the primary liaison between community schools, commanders, and military parents. This guidebook will inform you of the seven core responsibilites of a SLO and enhance your ability to perform your duties.

In order to support mission requirements, Commander, Navy Installation Command (N926) has established standard subsidies, which are based on geographic location, to offset the cost of child care to families.

Navy Child and Youth Programs standardized positions descriptions (PDs) are required to be use for all Navy CYP operations. Enclosure (1) provides an updated chart of all CYP standardized PDs which are required to be used. Both Appropriated Fund (APF) and Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) standardized PDs have been classified and are provided.

The Self-Release Form allows parents, based on the Installation's home alone policy, to authorize self-release privileges for their eligible youth.

The CYMS Staff Records User Guide is designed to assist CYP employees in creating and maintaining CYMS Staff Records. This User Guide provides steps and instructions on how information is to be added and maintained in the CYMS Staff Module.
