School Liaison Guidebook

The School Liaisons (SL) are responsible for all aspects of implementing the CYES function of the Navy's CYP. The SL serves as the primary liaison between community schools, commanders, and military parents. They face a wide range of issues concerning schools and military children's education. In most instances, it is NOT the responsibility of the SL to "fix" a problem, but to inform and link the military family with individuals or groups who can appropriately address the issue. This guidebook will inform you of the seven core responsibilities and enhance your ability to perform your duties.
