SLO Guidebook, CNIC

**The School Liaison Officer Guidebook is currently undergoing revision. The anticipated release of the updated version is targeted for fall 2018.** The School Liaison Officer's (SLOs) are responsible for all aspects of implementing the CYES function of the Navy's CYP. The SLO serves as the primary liaison between community schools, commanders, and military parents. They face a wide range of issues concerning schools and military children's education. In most instances, it is NOT the responsibility of the SLO to "fix" a problem, but to inform and link the military family with individuals or groups who can appropriately address the issue. This guidebook will inform you of the seven core responsibilites and enhance your ability to perform your duties.
