School Based Programming Guide

**The School Based Programming Guidebook is currently undergoing revision. The anticipated release of the updated version is targeted for fall 2018.** The School Based Programming Guidebook serves as a guide to initiating and sustaining Child and Youth Education Services and Youth Sponsorship programs in Local Education Agencies. The guidebook also outlines the specific responsibilities of Navy SLOs with regard to the initiatives. Navy School Based Programming envisions a collaborative effort between the schools, military and community to facilitate transition and orientation experiences that addresses the needs of mobile students, and provides support during deployments while promoting academic achievement and successful social and emotional adjustment at school.
