School Liaison Officer's (SLOs) are responsible for all aspects of implementing the CYES function of the Navy's CYP. The SLO serves as the primary liaison between community schools, commanders, and military parents. This guidebook will inform you of the seven core responsibilites of a SLO and enhance your ability to perform your duties.
The School Based Programming Guidebook serves as a guide to initiating and sustaining Child and Youth Education Services and Youth Sponsorship programs in Local Education Agencies. The guidebook also outlines the specific responsibilities of Navy SLOs with regard to the initiatives.
During the parent orientation prior to each program, the Navy YSF Program Start Smart Parent Fact Sheet will be issued and discussed with parents. The information within the Start Smart Parent Fact Sheet concerns the basic rules of the activity, equipment requirements, safety issues, promotion of good sportsmanship for both children and parents, and skill development for their child.

The CYMS Staff Records User Guide is designed to assist CYP employees in creating and maintaining CYMS Staff Records. This User Guide provides steps and instructions on how information is to be added and maintained in the CYMS Staff Module.
Effective immediately, all CNIC FFR System Access Requests, to include CYMS, Kronos, FFR SAP Portal, SAP ERP, SAP HR, FFR Navy Single Sign On, JIRA and Privileged User Agreements will now be using the CNIC FFR System Access Request Form version 1.1/January 2019.
