Navy Child and Youth Programs are required to establish administrative procedures, record keeping and file maintenance systems to ensure information is organized, accurate, and readily accessible. The Navy CYP Enrollment and Record Keeping Standards provide CYP professionals with specific information and guidance regarding requirements for record keeping and file maintenance for enrolled children and CYP professionals.

Gold Star spouses and surviving spouses of active duty Service members who die while their dependents are enrolled in an installation-based child development program will not be subject to supplanting by higher priority patrons. Additionally, surviving spouses of active duty Service members may maintain their space in Child Development Programs until they withdraw from the program or the child(ren) age out.
