The U.S. Department of StateΓÇÖs Gilman-McCain Scholarship provides awards of $5,000 for undergraduate child dependents of active duty service members to study or intern abroad on credit-bearing programs. Each year, DoD sets fee ranges for the entire military system of care. Commander, Navy Installation Command (CNIC) issues a Navy Fee Policy Letter each fall that provides details on the full range of fees for Navy CYPs worldwide.
All CYP installations must release a single CYP Parent Fee Letter annually that includes fees for CDC, SAC, CDH programs and 24/7 Centers for children ages birth to 12 (and recreational programs as appropriate). The template has been developed in Word so that installations can tailor the information to reflect the fees at their location.

For child(ren) enrolled in Navy operated child care programs (ages 4 weeks to 12 years of age), whose parents choose to have their child(ren) accompany them on official TAD/TDY, the following standard operating procedures shall be implemented and incorporated in parent handbooks in a section entitled "Temporary Withdrawal for Child(ren) Accompanying Parents on Official TAD/TDY"
