Annual unannounced inspections are required at all Navy Child and Youth Programs (CYP) operated on any Navy installation or jurisdiction by Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) CYP Higher Headquarters. This is the Inspection Criteria Checklist that will be used during the CY24 inspection cycle for Youth programs, effective 1 January 2024. All personnel responsible for CYP operations are required to be aware of the criteria and ensure they are met.

NAEYC Early Learning Program Accreditation Standards and Assessment Items

NAEYC Early Learning Program 2022 Standards and Assessment Items are research-based standards and recommended best practices for center-based early learning programs that serve children birth through preschool. Singapore School Information - NDSP

Military Youth of the Year BGCA Policy Letter - November 2013

The Boys and Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) National Youth of the Year (YOY) Program is the premier recognition program for Navy Youth Programs teen members. The BGCA YOY Program promotes service to Navy Youth Programs, community and family, academic success, strong moral character, life goals, and poise and public speaking. In September 2012, BGCA added the BGCA Military Youth of the Year (MYOY) Program. In order to support the implementation of the BGCA MYOY, program requirements (Enclosure 1) and a Sample Plan of Action and Milestones (Enclosure 2) have been developed to support installation personnel. Programs are required to implement the BGCA MYOY Program starting in FY2014.
