The webinar content introduces the four-stage process toward accreditation, including the accreditation portal, resources and support. The process involves self-reflection and quality improvement in order to meet and maintain accreditation over a five-year period.

The Council of Professional Recognition has developed the Child Development Associate and Military School Age credentials to improve the quality of child and school-age care programs. CNIC CYP will continue to provide supplemental funding to offer CYP employees and CDH Providers an opportunity to continue their training and receive recognition from a national organization. CNIC (N926) has established a centralized contract with the Council of Professional Recognition to streamline the process for funding the CDA and MSA credentials. Most NAEYC requirements are now managed through the accreditation portal, including annual reports, re-accreditation, filing 72-Hour Reports, etc. This document provides guidance on navigating the Portal.
NAEYC Early Learning Program 2022 Standards and Assessment Items are research-based standards and recommended best practices for center-based early learning programs that serve children birth through preschool. Navy CDCs and 24/7 programs shall apply these standards toward achievement and maintenance of quality programming and accreditation as required.
