The Parent Handbook is written for parents and families whose children and youth are enrolled in Navy CYP. It provides an overview of Navy CYP services, programming, and policies. Parents receive a copy of the Parent Handbook at enrollment and sign that they received its information and understand its policies.

The MCC Coordinator uses this resource to introduce MilitaryChildCare.com and communicate the photograph approval and press process with PAO.

This video series covers analyzing linking planning and observation to to assessment for preschool children, describing effective teacher-family partnerships and explaining their benefits, identifying strategies for getting to know families and gather information to individualize instruction, and identifying strategies for welcoming families to the program and involving them in meaningful ways.

The Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account is a benefit that may provide some relief for military service members. As part of its obligation to take care of service members and families, the Department of Defense is implementing DCFSAs to support families with expenses such as child care, preschool, elder care, summer camp and more.
