Mindfulness practices improve how children and youth manage their goals, stress, emotion and eating. When children and youth practice mindfulness, it may help reduce stress and anxiety and support young people as they experience the day-to-day commotion in their lives. This session will explore the concept of mindfulness and provide activities to incorporate across school age, teen, and sports programs with the intention of increasing mindfulness techniques and understanding. The virtual training featured presentations, audience interaction, and a live Q&A.
