This document outlines the training requirements and associated CYMS codes for each CYP position. All training completion must be documented in CYMS using the codes listed in this document.

This webinar provides an overview of changes to the structure of the Individual Development Plans, changes to the training requirements, updates to corresponding CYMS codes, and some best practices for approaching the updated training requirements.

The Introduction to CYP course has been designed to provide a high level overview of Navy Child and Youth Programs and covers topics such as the Navy CYP Mission, the Military Child Care Act, the structure of regulations and policies, systems of care, inclusion, the organization and staffing of CYP, who is eligible for CYP, quality assurance, and other topics that familiarize the learner with the overall structure of CYP.

The Introduction to Initial Competency Based Training webinar provides an overview of the requirements for completing initial competency based training as a new CYP professional, and demonstrates how to use the Department of Defense Virtual Lab School.

The Introduction to the CDA, MSA, Tuition Assistance, and Employee Transfer Program webinar provides an overview of various professional development opportunities available to CYP Professionals. Please note that this webinar is an introductory overview of these programs.

The Introduction to the Virtual Lab School provides an overview of the structure of the Virtual Lab School, outlines Navy Specific policy and expectations regarding the implementation of the VLS, covers the roles and responsibilities of various CYP Professionals related to VLS, and provides a brief tour of some highlights of the VLS.
