Commander, Navy Installations Command (CN IC) conducts annual unannounced inspections at each Navy Child and Youth Program, or CYP, worldwide as required by the Military Child Care Act of 1989 (MCAA). The goal of the inspection is to ensure all Navy CYPs are meeting the high standards of care on which Navy families have come to depend. The annual CNIC inspection determines the level of compliance with the current regulations and requirements as set forth in Navy policy.
