Working with and Coaching Adult Learners
On March 11, 2020, Brent Edwards and Jenny Jordan provided a virtual training on Working and Coaching Adult Learners. Adults have specific needs as learners. Working to meet those needs, T&C's, managers and others in coaching and training roles can effectively support and grow staff and programs. During the virtual training, trainees will explore the basics of adult learning and connect those needs to the work we do in programs. The virtual training featured presentations, audience interaction, and a live Q&A. After reviewing the virtual training, each participant is asked to complete a reflection guide to facilitate deeper thinking and action planning. After completing the reflection guide, CYP professionals should connect with their T&C Specialist to update their individual development plan (IDP) via CYMS.
