Navy CYP is implementing practices for the inclusion of children with special needs to meet the legal requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The revised Standard will assist Program Directors and Training & Curriculum Specialists in welcoming and supporting all families in Navy CYP. Enclosure (2) provides guidance for utilizing current Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) forms 1700/42 and CNIC 1700/42A until updated forms are released. In order to support the implementation of updated standards for inclusion, comprehensive training has been developed to assist installation personnel through the process.
