The purpose of the Family Child Care (FCC) Monitor position is to oversee a caseload of up to 30 in-process and/or certified FCC providers and to ensure that there are safe, developmentally appropriate environments for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age in these homes. A variety of services are provided by FCC providers in accordance with demand and availability of funding, including full-time child development programs for infants, pretoddlers, toddlers, preschool and school-age children as well as emergency, respite, hourly, infant and toddler, special needs, extended hours, and overnight care.
