4-H Policy Letter

This memorandum establishes 4-H Clubs as an integral component of Navy CYP. The Navy CYP and the USDA have entered into an Interagency Agreement for training, technical assistance, and materials to support CYP. This partnership, entitled the "4-H Youth Development Project" (YDP), allows Navy CYP access to services and materials from a 4-H nationally recognized youth organization. These two federal agencies have established this relationship to merge resources in order to establish 4-H Clubs and provide training for CYP professionals in positive youth development principles and methodology.
