Full and consistent utilization of space is a primary goal of Navy Child and Youth Programs (CYP) and key to meeting the needs of Navy families. To maximize capacity, Child Development Center (CDC) Directors should review classroom utilization and analyze wait list demand information. No CDC should have empty classrooms and a wait list. The CDC Additional Enrollment Cost Analysis Worksheet was developed to assist Directors in determining when to open additional classrooms and how to calculate the costs associated with the increased enrollment. The worksheet will calculate the additional expenses and show the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) profit or loss associated with the projected increased enrollment.
