The purpose of the School Liaison and Youth Sponsorship Best Practices Catalog is to create a central library of Child & Youth Education Services (CYES) "Best Practices" to facilitate information sharing between Navy Child and Youth Programs (CYP) and other Fleet and Family Readiness functional areas. A submission template has been provided for installations to submit their best practices for consideration. Submissions should be sent by installations to CNIC N926 CYES via each Region.

Gilman-McCain Scholarship for Undergraduate Children of Active Duty Military Personnel

The U.S. Department of StateΓÇÖs Gilman-McCain Scholarship provides awards of $5,000 for undergraduate child dependents of active duty service members to study or intern abroad on credit-bearing programs. Developed under the framework of the State DepartmentΓÇÖs Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program, the John McCain International Scholarship for the Children of Military Families (Gilman-McCain Scholarship) is open to eligible students enrolled at accredited U.S. colleges and universities who receive any type of Title IV federal financial aid.

Parent Fee Policy - SY23-24

All CYP installations must release a single CYP Parent Fee Letter annually that includes fees for CDC, SAC, CDH programs and 24/7 Centers for children ages birth to 12 (and recreational programs as appropriate). The template has been developed in Word so that installations can tailor the information to reflect the fees at their location.
