In order to enhance your CCTV experience and consistently improve system performance, the SPAWAR CCTV Team will be distributing a Quarterly CYP CCTV Sustainment Newsletter named ΓÇ£CCTV NewsfeedΓÇ¥. The main purpose of this Newsletter is to communicate news -- to inform you of current/important/relevant CCTV news that will benefit your site maintenance of your CCTV system.

The Council of Professional Recognition has developed the Child Development Associate and Military School Age credentials to improve the quality of child and school-age care programs. CNIC CYP will continue to provide supplemental funding to offer CYP employees and CDH Providers an opportunity to continue their training and receive recognition from a national organization. CNIC (N926) has established a centralized contract with the Council of Professional Recognition to streamline the process for funding the CDA and MSA credentials. Enclosures (1) through (4) provide the processes for participating in this opportunity.

These Child Nutrition Labels represent items that may be on the Navy Standardized Menus. They are not specific to any published menu, but they have been gathered over time and are meant to be a resource to programs. They are not meant to be all-inclusive of all items included on the Navy Standardized menus.

For child(ren) enrolled in Navy operated child care programs (ages 4 weeks to 12 years of age), whose parents choose to have their child(ren) accompany them on official TAD/TDY, the following standard operating procedures shall be implemented and incorporated in parent handbooks in a section entitled "Temporary Withdrawal for Child(ren) Accompanying Parents on Official TAD/TDY"

The DoD Standardized Training Program certificate is awarded to CYP staff who have completed the 15 courses of initial competency based training. Programs may use this certificate or create a version locally for use.

All Navy CDCs are required to implement the Creative Curriculum as the standard curriculum to provide consistency and continuity for military children and their families as they move from base to base. The attached policy details the curriculum requirements that shall be met by all Navy Child Development Centers administering preschool programs.

We know parents are likely sorting through a wealth of online resources as they navigate the prospect of schooling and learning at home. With the hope of providing some quality tools, Navy CYP would like to share a few suggestions to illustrate the variety of materials available to families and their children.
