The CYMS Staff Records User Guide is designed to assist CYP employees in creating and maintaining CYMS Staff Records. This User Guide provides steps and instructions on how information is to be added and maintained in the CYMS Staff Module.

Navy Child and Youth Programs standardized positions descriptions (PDs) are required to be use for all Navy CYP operations. Enclosure (1) provides an updated chart of all CYP standardized PDs which are required to be used. Both Appropriated Fund (APF) and Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) standardized PDs have been classified and are provided.
During the parent orientation prior to each program, the Navy YSF Program Start Smart Parent Fact Sheet will be issued and discussed with parents. The information within the Start Smart Parent Fact Sheet concerns the basic rules of the activity, equipment requirements, safety issues, promotion of good sportsmanship for both children and parents, and skill development for their child.

Families applying for Army MCCYN may need to obtain a signed statement from their installation's CYP office indicating that there is at least a 45-day wait to receive on-bases care before qualifying for Army MCCYN.
The Community Action Toolkit from StopBullying.gov includes materials to create a community event using the research, ideas and bullying prevention and response strategies that you learned about in the Training Module. Using this Toolkit will help you plan, execute and assess your community event to prevent and stop bullying.
