The Inclusion Standard provides policies and standards for including children with disabilities and other special needs in Navy CYPs, including the role of the Inclusion Action Team (IAT) and other inclusion support systems, identifying needs, referral systems, accommodations, and behavior support
Annual unannounced inspections are required at all Navy Child and Youth Programs (CYP) operated on any Navy installation or jurisdiction by Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) CYP Higher Headquarters. This is the Inspection Criteria Checklist that will be used during the CY24 inspection cycle for 24/7 Centers, effective 1 January 2024. All personnel responsible for CYP operations are required to be aware of the criteria and ensure they are met.
