Military School Age (MSA) Representative Policy Letter with Encl(1) Training Guidance and Encl (2) Training Nomination Form - 20 March 2014

This policy letter states that CNIC CYP has received supplemental funding to offer eligible CYP employees an opportunity to become a Military School Age (MSA) representative. The document contains the MSA Representative policy letter, training guidelines and nomination packet. The MSA Representative Training is a three day intensive training designed to prepare individuals with a strong background and experience in the field of School Age Services to conduct assessment of Candidates working with School Age children. Dates: April 22-24 Training Location: Naval Support Activity Mid-South.

CDA and MSA Credential Policy Letter and Enclosures

The Council of Professional Recognition has developed the Child Development Associate and Military School Age credentials to improve the quality of child and school-age care programs. CNIC CYP will continue to provide supplemental funding to offer CYP employees and CDH Providers an opportunity to continue their training and receive recognition from a national organization. CNIC (N926) has established a centralized contract with the Council of Professional Recognition to streamline the process for funding the CDA and MSA credentials. Enclosures (1) through (4) provide the processes for participating in this opportunity.
