The purpose of the School Liaison and Youth Sponsorship Best Practices Catalog is to create a central library of Child & Youth Education Services (CYES) "Best Practices" to facilitate information sharing between Navy Child and Youth Programs (CYP) and other Fleet and Family Readiness functional areas. A submission template has been provided for installations to submit their best practices for consideration. Submissions should be sent by installations to CNIC N926 CYES via each Region.

This policy letter states that CNIC CYP has received supplemental funding to offer eligible CYP employees an opportunity to become a Military School Age (MSA) representative. The document contains the MSA Representative policy letter, training guidelines and nomination packet. The MSA Representative Training is a three day intensive training designed to prepare individuals with a strong background and experience in the field of School Age Services to conduct assessment of Candidates working with School Age children. On 22 August 2014, the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) launched various updates to the Navy CYP Chapter Utilities section of the NAYS Chapter Management Website. In response, CNIC CYP (N926) hosted two (2) GoToWebinars to provide a tutorial of the newly designed features and functionality of the Navy CYP Chapter Utilities section of the NAYS Chapter Management Website. The target audience for this training is Youth Directors, Assistant Youth Directors, Youth Sports and Fitness Coordinators, Teen Coordinators, and direct care staff who are responsible for assisting in the execution of Navy Youth Sports and Fitness (YSF) programming.
