(MSA) representative. The document contains the MSA Representative policy letter, training guidelines and nomination packet. The MSA Representative Training is a three day intensive training designed to prepare individuals with a strong background and experience in the field of School Age Services to conduct assessment of Candidates working with School Age children. The DoD Standardized Training Program certificate is awarded to CYP staff who have completed the 15 courses of initial competency based training. Programs may use this certificate or create a version locally for use.
Module 7: Creativity and The Arts - Programs and activities connected to creativity and the arts are usually quite popular with youth. Combined with other interests of youth such as technology and science, programming in the arts is a great way for youth to build relationships, life skills and self-esteem.
Module 8: Personal, Character and Leadership Development - Every single day, in every encounter within the Youth Center, you have the opportunity to help promote personal, character and leadership development in youth. This guide will show you the importance of infusing character and leadership opportunities into conversation and program activities.
This portfolio includes the information Series focusing on the CDA/MSA Process and the Council for Professional Recognition roll-out of the web-based CDA 2.0. Session is specifically designed for Training and Curriculum Specialist and dual-hat CYP Directors.
All Navy CDCs are required to implement the Creative Curriculum as the standard curriculum to provide consistency and continuity for military children and their families as they move from base to base.

Navy Child and Youth Programs are required to establish administrative procedures, record keeping and file maintenance systems to ensure information is organized, accurate, and readily accessible. The Navy CYP Enrollment and Record Keeping Standards provide CYP professionals with specific information and guidance regarding requirements for record keeping and file maintenance for enrolled children and CYP professionals.
4-H 101 is a sixteen module series with concepts and principles of youth development as well as content to develop your 4-H club. The series is ideal for direct care staff and Navy CYP professionals (most notably, direct care staff) assigned to School AGe Care (SAC) and Youth Programs. Training can be completed through self-paced online modules, or Training and Curriculum Specialists can download the 4-H 101 Training Guide to facilitate group training sessions.
