The DOD Child Abuse Hotline Poster shall be posted in a location that is visible to staff and parents. This includes in the lobby of all CYP facilities, on every classroom parent information board, at all FCC homes, and in or near the School Liaison office (if the office is located outside of a CYP facility).
Commander, Navy Installations Command (CN IC) conducts annual unannounced inspections at each Navy Child and Youth Program, or CYP, worldwide as required by the Military Child Care Act of 1989 (MCAA). The goal of the inspection is to ensure all Navy CYPs are meeting the high standards of care on which Navy families have come to depend. The annual CNIC inspection determines the level of compliance with the current regulations and requirements as set forth in Navy policy. A Plan of Action and Milestones is used at the installation after a Inspection and accompanies an Exception Request. Both a blank plan and sample plan are available.
