The main purpose of this Newsletter is to communicate news -- to inform you of current/important/relevant CCTV news that will benefit your site maintenance of your CCTV system.
The Child Youth Program (CYP) closed circuit television (CCTV) system is installed in CYP facilities to provide real-time video of all areas used by children and youth. The CYP CCTV Training Manual has been designed to familiarize CYP facility personnel with the CYP CCTV system. Upon completion of this training manual, CYP personnel will be knowledgeable of the capabilities of the CYP CCTV system.

Families are required to provide the CYP with a completed Family Food Preference Meals and Snacks Agreement for service of any food/drink items that are not provided by CYP, including the reason for the substitution request for each child that will be served family food preference meals/snacks.

This Standard provides guidance for all Navy CYPs for establishing good nutrition, promoting healthy habits, and ensuring healthy environments are maintained that protect and promote the well-being of children and the overall CYP delivery system.
All firearms in Navy certified Child Development Homes must be inaccessible to children and lawfully registered according to State and Navy installation regulations. Effective immediately, CDH providers shall disclose to all parents both verbally and in writing if there are firearms on the premises. CDH Providers must update their current contacts with firearms statements as directed in the policy letter and verify the presence of firearms using the CDH Program Provider Agreement - CNICCYP 1700/82.
