The Medication Dispensation Log provides a written record of the medication being given by CYP staff to the child (when it was administered, by whom, and the dosage given).
The form is used to record information that is used by the CYP Personnel to report incidences of Accidents, Incidents, Child Abuse and/or Neglect of the CYP. Disclosure of requested information is voluntary.
The policy clarifies information to installations on requirements of references: BUMEDINST 6230.15A and OPNAV 1700.9E in their bargaining agreements regarding immunization requirements for both employees and children in Navy CYP.
Navy Installation CDH Programs will establish local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) outlining a reimbursement process through the Direct Care Subsidy Program (DCSP) for providers seeking to obtain or retain national accreditation.

The Council of Professional Recognition has developed the Child Development Associate and Military School Age credentials to improve the quality of child and school-age care programs. CNIC CYP will continue to provide supplemental funding to offer CYP employees and CDH Providers an opportunity to continue their training and receive recognition from a national organization. CNIC (N926) has established a centralized contract with the Council of Professional Recognition to streamline the process for funding the CDA and MSA credentials. Enclosures (1) through (4) provide the processes for participating in this opportunity.
