All Navy child care payments are required prior to services (certain exceptions may apply). All program revenue must be posted the month service is provided. Program revenue is posted in CYMS only if payments are made. Guidance on how to transfer revenue at the end of the month is included in the EOM Activity Balance Transfer Process document. Operations Clerks are required to run this process monthly.

Third party/agency payments are defined as any payments made on behalf of a household towards child care fees. If a family qualifies for a State program to help with their tuition fees, a specific process is warranted in CYMS for payments from these agencies, as outlined in the Navy CYMS Agency Third Party Process document. CYP Rewards Program: Redeeming Earned Reward Points in CYMS provides detailed instructions on entering points that parent participants earn through the CYP Family Rewards Program in CYMS and processing credits on their child care billings.
Effective immediately, all CNIC FFR System Access Requests, to include CYMS, Kronos, FFR SAP Portal, SAP ERP, SAP HR, FFR Navy Single Sign On, JIRA and Privileged User Agreements will now be using the CNIC FFR System Access Request Form version 1.1/January 2019.
