The HR Survival Guide for NAF Managers and Supervisors will equip new managers and supervisors of NAF personnel with resources necessary to succeed in their job. It's designed to allow new supervisors the opportunity to access HR information both during their orientation/on-boarding period and whenever circumstances arise where the adherence to procedures or policies is necessary in the performance of their job. The order in which information is presented is consistent with the chapter headings of the CNICINST 5300.2 Non-appropriated Fund Personnel Manual.
The CY24 CYP Youth Sponsorship Program Snapshot must be uploaded into the Inspection Management System. It must also be filed in the CYP Inspection Box with all copies of supporting information attached. The Snapshot will be used as a coversheet. Use of the Youth Sponsorship Program Snapshot is REQUIRED.

The CYP Communicator is a bi-monthly newsletter created for the staff of Navy Child and Youth Programs, a CNIC quality of life program.
The Navy is required by the Department of Defense to offer free or reduced price meals to families with a householdΓÇÖs gross income within the limits of the Federal Income Eligibility Guideline, in accordance with the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act (42 USC 1751 et. seq.) (NSLA) This guidance prescribes policy and procedures for Navy Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), (N926), Child and Youth Program (CYP), Child & Youth Education Services (CYES), Free and Reduced-Price Meal Program. In Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDEA) on Navy installations, Commander, Navy Installations Command (N926), Child and Youth Programs are responsible for execution.
