Through a continued partnership and centrally managed contract with the Missoula Children's Theater (MCT), installations operating Child and Youth Programs (CYP) may request to host a week long MCT residency camp for eligible youth. This opportunity is available for both CONUS and OCONUS installations to offer residency camps that can fulfill the installation requirements outlined in the Missoula Children's Theatre Camps Requirements document.

The Council of Professional Recognition has developed the Child Development Associate and Military School Age credentials to improve the quality of child and school-age care programs. CNIC CYP will continue to provide supplemental funding to offer CYP employees and CDH Providers an opportunity to continue their training and receive recognition from a national organization. CNIC (N926) has established a centralized contract with the Council of Professional Recognition to streamline the process for funding the CDA and MSA credentials. Enclosures (1) through (4) provide the processes for participating in this opportunity.

A guide provided by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service to support healthy meal patterns and portions for infant, child and adult (breakfast, lunch, supper, and snack).

The Navy CYP Parent Participation Plan (PPP) sample helps programs detail how they will encourage families to actively participate in their CYP. Programs are required to develop a PPP and must review and update their PPP on an annual basis to ensure an accurate and up-to-date ΓÇ£road mapΓÇ¥ for their participation efforts for the coming year.

These Child Nutrition Labels represent items that may be on the Navy Standardized Menus. They are not specific to any published menu, but they have been gathered over time and are meant to be a resource to programs. They are not meant to be all-inclusive of all items included on the Navy Standardized menus.

For child(ren) enrolled in Navy operated child care programs (ages 4 weeks to 12 years of age), whose parents choose to have their child(ren) accompany them on official TAD/TDY, the following standard operating procedures shall be implemented and incorporated in parent handbooks in a section entitled "Temporary Withdrawal for Child(ren) Accompanying Parents on Official TAD/TDY"
