Programs must develop and implement an emergency response medication portability procedure for each child requiring emergency response medication for a life-threatening condition. The IAT must review the childΓÇÖs portability procedure, and the Director must approve it. Programs have the discretion to determine the most effective procedure to meet this requirement. Some N9 NAFI programs require patrons to sign Hold Harmless Agreements (HHA) in order to participate in a particular program, activity, or event. For those N9 programs, activities or events requiring a signed HHA, such a requirement is mandatory and a prerequisite for participation.
