Policy letter states that BGCA and Navy YP Memorandum of Agreement established a cooperative agreement between BGCA and Navy YP to become an affiliate organization of BGCA. As an affiliate of BGCA, Navy YP can offer BGCA developed programs and activities, request and receive grants, participate in trainings, and request technical assistance in all aspects of youth development offerings within BGCA.

The purpose of the memorandum is to provide guidance for Navy CYP member organizations of Boys and Girls Club (BGCA) located within the Continental United States and Hawaii to join BGCA State Alliance.

The policy letter releases the Navy CYP Child Abuse Prevention, Education, and Reporting (CAPER) Standards April 2016.

Child and Youth Program (CYP) Professionals develop strong, caring relationships with children and their families, and spend the day engaged with children in both child care and protection. This Standard describes not only the roles, responsibilities, and operational requirements for Child Abuse Prevention, Education, and Reporting (CAPER), but also the best practices and strategies that support effective CAPER implementation.

These Child Nutrition Labels represent items that may be on the Navy Standardized Menus. They are not specific to any published menu, but they have been gathered over time and are meant to be a resource to programs. They are not meant to be all-inclusive of all items included on the Navy Standardized menus.

For child(ren) enrolled in Navy operated child care programs (ages 4 weeks to 12 years of age), whose parents choose to have their child(ren) accompany them on official TAD/TDY, the following standard operating procedures shall be implemented and incorporated in parent handbooks in a section entitled "Temporary Withdrawal for Child(ren) Accompanying Parents on Official TAD/TDY"
