The CYP Quality Assurance (QA) Standard provides guidance and defines the requirements for maintaining QA across all programming and operations activities. These standards are written to inform practices of all CYP Professionals whose programs are being inspected.
The YP ERK Standard provides guidance for enrollment and record keeping, including scanning requirements, for records for youth, families, and Professionals, and how to maintain paper and electronic documents.
Child and Youth Program (CYP) Professionals develop strong, caring relationships with children and their families, and spend the day engaged with children in both child care and protection. This Standard describes not only the roles, responsibilities, and operational requirements for Child Abuse Prevention, Education, and Reporting (CAPER), but also the best practices and strategies that support effective CAPER implementation.
