Start Smart Parent Fact Sheet - Navy YSF

Service Learning: Designing & Supporting Service Projects with Youth

Navy CYPs offer programming for youth of all ages to engage in the service for their communities. Attendees will explore strategies to support youth in the design and implementation of service activities at a variety of levels. The training will investigate the difference in group and individual service activities/projects, creative strategies for determining projects with youth and best practices to leading projects alongside youth. The virtual training featured presentations, audience interaction, and a live Q&A.
