These first aid kit checklists can be used to inventory first aid kits. The Inspection Checklist version is used by inspectors. The monthly checklist may be used by programs to inventory kits for 12 months and maintained with the first aid kit as documentation that the kit was inventoried monthly.

The Family Relations Standard provides CYP Professionals with guidance on and strategies for implementing all Navy policy requirements related to building and sustaining collaborative relationships with families, embracing family-centered practices, and providing rich opportunities for family communication, engagement, and participation.

All family involvement activities and efforts are founded on each CYPΓÇÖs Family Engagement Program. This required, Navy-wide program ensures that families have ample, flexible, and meaningful opportunities to participate in their childrenΓÇÖs experience in CYP. The Family Engagement Program brochure describes the program and opportunities for involvement across all CYPs.

A sample format to be used to request an exception to CYP. The Formal Exception Request must accompany the Plan of Action and Milestones following a CYP Inspection.

CYPs complete this form to inform families of upcoming off-base field trips or special events for their children/youth. Forms must be created for each event. Families sign and return completed forms to give permission for their children/youth to participate. Families may use one permission slip for all participating children/youth attending the event.

Navy CYP is required to establish collaborative relationships with families as the cornerstone of successful child care programs. When CYP professionals invest in meaningful relationships with families they serve, the entire community benefits.
