DoD Instruction 6060.04 establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides direction for the establishment and maintenance of DoD Youth Services. This includes the Youth Program (YP), Youth Sports and Fitness Program (YSFP), School Liaison Program (SLP), and Youth Sponsorship Program. This issuance applies to OSD, the Military Departments, the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Joint Staff, the Combatant Commands, the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Defense, the Defense Agencies, the DoD Field Activities, and all other organizational entities within the DoD.
On April 14, 2021, Brent Edwards and Angela Ware provided all Navy CYPs with a virtual training on Deepening the Impact of the BGCA Military Youth of the Year Program.
The Discover 4-H Clubs series guides new 4-H leaders through the process of starting a 4-H club or provides a guideline for seasoned volunteer leaders to try a new project area. Each guide outlines everything needed to organize a club and hold the first six club meetings related to a specific project area.
The DoDEA Expanded Eligibility Pilot Program is for high school students that are dependents of active duty servicemembers stationed in CONUS that do not have access to a DoDEA brick-and-mortar school. Applications are now being accepted for the DoDea Expanded Eligibility Pilot Program (E2P2) spring semester.
