The Council of Professional Recognition has developed the Child Development Associate and Military School Age credentials to improve the quality of child and school-age care programs. CNIC CYP will continue to provide supplemental funding to offer CYP employees and CDH Providers an opportunity to continue their training and receive recognition from a national organization. CNIC (N926) has established a centralized contract with the Council of Professional Recognition to streamline the process for funding the CDA and MSA credentials. Enclosures (1) through (4) provide the processes for participating in this opportunity.
All Navy CDCs are required to implement the Creative Curriculum as the standard curriculum to provide consistency and continuity for military children and their families as they move from base to base. This guide provides CYMS (Navy specific) instructions on the following functionality for maintaining Staff training records: records training requirements, due dates and completion dates, produces a report equivalent to the Individual Development Plan (IDP), which provides a listing of all training requirements for each level of training along with due dates, completion dates, and clock hours, generates reports to track training coming due or overdue and the Bulk Training Update program allows you to complete or link one or more trainings to one or more staff members.
