This quick reference guide provides instructions for individuals serving the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) to navigate the enrollment and Family Travel Screening processes for the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, and Air Force. This Navy Youth Sports and Fitness (YSF) Standard is designed to assist all Navy Child and Youth Programs by standardizing opportunities for youth participation in sports and fitness activities on-base or in close proximity to where Navy families live off-base. YSF programming helps Navy families balance the demands of family life and military readiness by providing opportunities for youth to engage in rewarding physical activity and by exposing youth to positive lifestyle behaviors. Standardizing the opportunities for youth participation in a variety of sports, fitness, health, and recreational activities throughout Navy installations allows military families to effectively and efficiently use available resources.

MCCYN is a fee assistance program that keeps affordable child care in reach for U.S. military families. It is intended for families who cannot access installation-based care due to distance or waitlists.

For child(ren) enrolled in Navy operated child care programs (ages 4 weeks to 12 years of age), whose parents choose to have their child(ren) accompany them on official TAD/TDY, the following standard operating procedures shall be implemented and incorporated in parent handbooks in a section entitled "Temporary Withdrawal for Child(ren) Accompanying Parents on Official TAD/TDY"

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) provides financial Assistance and support for education of authorized command-sponsored dependents of military members and Department of Defense (DoD) civilian employees assigned to overseas areas where no DoDEA school is available within the commuting area of the duty location and the sponsorΓÇÖs residence.
