Policy Update for Child Care Services for a Member with a Spouse Seeking Employment - CNIC Notice 12300

Sponsors are required to provide updated income information to the Child and Youth Program (CYP) when the spouse secures employment so that total family income (TFI) can be calculated accordingly. This notice provides updated guidance on required timeframes for validating ongoing status of seeking employment or providing updated employment and pay information. Spouses actively seeking employment must submit verification every 30 days once the child is enrolled in care. The child may be removed from care if the spouse has not gained employment after 180 days.
