Installation Child and Youth Program Director (Small & Medium) - NF-1701-04, CYP 25-04
The Installation CYP Director provides oversight for all installation Child and Youth Programs (CYP) serving up to 550 children from ages 6 weeks to 18 years. This role ensures the delivery of safe, healthy secure and developmentally appropriate services. A variety of core services are provided in accordance with demand and availability of funding to include Child Development Centers (CDC), Family Child Care (FCC), School Age Care (SAC) programs, Youth Programs (YP) and Child and Youth Educational Services (CYES). In addition, the incumbent conducts community outreach and builds and sustains partnerships. They provide oversight to all child and youth programs at an installation to facilitate the provision of safe, healthy, secure, and developmentally appropriate services for children and youth ages 6 weeks to 18 years. The scope and size of the CYP is defined by the maximum capacity of open CDC classrooms, certified FCC providers, and SAC enrollment.
