Youth Director w/CYP Oversight - NF-1701-04, CYP 26-04

The purpose of the Youth Director with CYP Oversight position is responsible for the full administration, operations, and delivery of services within the installation’s Youth Program (Small 28-100 children; Medium 101-199 children). A variety of youth services are provided in accordance with demand and availability of funding to include programs for ages 3 year through 18 years, before and after care, summer and winter camps, open recreation, youth sports and fitness, teen programs and conducts community outreach and builds and sustains partnerships.

In addition to directing their assigned program, the Youth Director serves as the installation’s primary point of contact (POC) for the Child and Youth Program. In this capacity, the Youth Director provides installation- wide coordination, oversight, and compliance assurance across all CYP components, which may include Child Development Centers (CDC), Family Child Care (FCC), School Age Care (SAC) programs, Youth Programs (YP,) and Child and Youth Educational Services (CYES), while each component remains under the day to day management of its respective program director.
