The purpose of the USDA Clerk position is to implement and ensure timely operation and record keeping of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) in the Child Development Centers (CDC), School Age Care (SAC) programs, and participating Child Development Homes (CDH) in a metro area.

The purpose of the Regional Resource and Referral (R&R) Director position is to operate the Child and Youth Program (CYP) Resource and Referral (R&R) Program, which is a service provided to the military community to assist each family in identifying child care needs, child care options and child and youth related resources. The R&R collects, maintains and reports data and statistics on child care requested, child care available, and problems encountered by parents in locating child care. This information is used by the Department of Navy (DoN) to determine child care requirements, funding, and services to be provided.

The purpose of the Regional Program Analyst is to provide support to the Regional Child and Youth Program (CYP) Manager through the conduct of various analysis functions including financial analysis, staff advisory analysis services, personnel administration, and general administrative support for assigned organizational elements. This position is the liaison with regional support offices, which includes but is not limited to the Non-appropriated Funds (NAF) personnel office, Human Resources Office (HRO), and Regional financial management offices.

The purpose of the Regional Program Analyst is to provide management information support to the Regional Child and Youth Program (CYP) Manager, and installation CYP Directors with analysis, implementation, and maintenance of CYP specific data collection and management information systems. This position is the liaison with regional support offices, installation CYP programs, and CNIC CYP system support service providers.

This position serves as the Region School Liaison Officer (SLO) in Navy Regions under designated Navy Child and Youth Programs (CYP). The Region SLO serves as the subject matter expert for issues and processes involving State and Local Education Agencies (LEA) on all K-12 educational matters relating to public, private, home schooling and where applicable Department of Defense Education Activity Schools (DoDEA).

The purpose of the Regional Child and Youth Program (CYP)Manager is to facilitate the provision of safe, healthy, secure and developmentally appropriate child and youth services. The primary functions of this position are to: (1) monitor Navy-wide policies for Child Development Centers (CDC), Child Development Homes (CDH), School Age Care programs (SAC), Youth Programs (YP), and Resource and Referral (R&R) programs; (2) provide technical direction and guidance for the functional operation of such programs; and (3) assess the Department of the Navy's (DoN)compliance with the Military Child Care Act (MCCA) of 1989.

The purpose of the Child Development Home (CDH) Monitor position is to oversee a caseload of up to 30 in-process and/or certified CDH providers and to ensure that there are safe, developmentally appropriate environments for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age in these homes. A variety of services are provided by CDH providers in accordance with demand and availability of funding, including full-time child development programs for infants, pretoddlers, toddlers, preschool and school-age children as well as emergency, respite, hourly, infant and toddler, special needs, extended hours, and overnight care.

The purpose of the Child Development Home (CDH) Director position is to administer a home-based developmentally appropriate early childhood and school age program for children of eligible patrons. Administration includes direction and operation of a small (up to 29 homes) or medium (30-85 homes) CDH system. A variety of services are provided by CDH providers in accordance with demand and availability of funding, including full-time child development programs for infants, pretoddlers, toddlers, preschool and school-age children as well as emergency, respite, hourly, infant and toddler, special needs, extended hours, and overnight care. Services provided by the CDH program include developmental assessments, extensive CDH provider training, CDH inspections and home visits, and parent education programs.

The purpose of the Family Child Care Director (Child Development Home (CDH) Director) position is to administer a home based developmentally appropriate early childhood and school age program for children of eligible patrons. Administration includes direction and operation of a large CDH system (86+ providers).

The purpose of the Child Development Home (CDH) Director with Oversight position is twofold: (l) developmentally appropriate home-based early childhood and school age program for children of eligible patrons and (2) oversee all installation Child and Youth Programs (CYPs). Administration includes direction and operation of a small (up to 29 homes) or medium (30-85 homes)CDH. A variety of services are provided by CDH providers in accordance with demand and availability of funding, including full-time child development programs for infants, pretoddlers, toddlers, preschool and school-age children as well as emergency, respite, hourly, infant and toddler, special needs, extended hours, and overnight care. Services provided by the CDH program include developmental assessments, extensive CDH provider training, CDH inspections and home visits, and parent education programs.
